Morphologic Description: Characterized by emaciated appearance and two very pominent posterodorsal nodes.

Holotype: GIRU S 13040 (T 1451, Outcrop on shore of Bahia de Nipe, Oriente Province, Cuba, Upper Nipe Formation, Upper Miocene (= Jucaro Formation of Kozary, 1957, Jakus, 1983, p.62)).

Distribution:

• Miocene to Holocene: Trinidad; Miocene: Cuba.
• Holocene: Gulf of Paria, North Coast of Venezuela, Carbonate Platform of Belize.
