Acknowledgements

I appreciate assistance from librarians and archivist at the University of Iowa Special Collection library for helping me locate information from the files of Professors R.B. Wylie, C.C. Nutting, A.O. Thomas, A.C. Trowbridge, and Samuel Calvin. Also, two books from the main library and geoscience library were invaluable for learning and providing data about the 1922 Fiji/New Zealand expedition. They are Fiji-New Zealand Expedition (Narrative and Preliminary Report of Scientific Expedition from the University of Iowa to the South Seas, vol. 10 no. 5) by Charles C. Nutting , published by the University of Iowa and Proceedings of the Iowa Academy of Science for 1923 (vol.xxx), Thirty-seventh Annual Session, held at Mount Vernon, April 27 and 28, 1923, published by the State of Iowa,  Des Moines. Most pictures came from Professor Nutting's book, Waldo S. Glock scrapbook (in Special Collection) or Wikkipedia.  In addition, I wish to thank Tiffany Adrain, Collections Manager for the Paleontology Repository and UI instructor for providing guidance and allowing me extra time to complete this project.
