Morphologic Description:

    Otolith shape: ovoid;
    Form: -Mesial convex;
    Form: -Lateral convex, with nodules or tubercles;
    Dorsal margin sculpture: slightly irregular;
    Posterior margin: rounded, with a well-marked postero-ventral angle;
    Colliculum: heteromorph, low anterior and indistinct posterior colliculi;
    Ostium: ovoid, large and oblique, the dorsal-anterior tip reaches the anterior margin. Ostial crista inferior widely separated from the ventral margin.;
    Ostio-caudal differentiation: dorso-ventrally constricted;
    Cauda: narrow horizontal portions continue with deeply incised and expanded vertical portion, strongly flexed in acute angle. The tip of the cauda is at the level of the ventral margin of the ostium.;
    Excisura: very narrow, notch absent;
    Antirostrum: rounded;
    Rostrum: reduced;
    Ventral depression: shallow and elongate near the ventral margin;
    Dorsal depression: shallow and elongate;
    Crista inferior: poorly developed under ostium, moderately well developed along cauda;
    Crista superior: poorly developed over ostium, ridge-like over horizontal portion of the cauda;
    Collum: absent;
    Pseudocolliculum: absent;
    Sulcus acusticus: ostial, heterosulcoid;
    Ventral margin: rounded;
    Dorsal margin: slightly rounded;
    Thickness: very thick;
