    Otolith shape: oblong to fusiform;
    Ventral margin: gently rounded, dentate or irregular;
    Sulcus acusticus: ostial, heterosulcoid;
    Posterior margin: rounded and irregular;
    Dorsal depression: oblong;
    Crista inferior: ridge-like and curved under the cauda, well developed under ostium;
    Crista superior: ridge-like and curved over the cauda, poor over ostium, absent at tip;
    Collum: absent;
    Ostio-caudal differentiation: dorso-ventrally constricted;
    Cauda: short, oval, poorly defined posteriorly;
    Ostium: narrow and large;
    Pseudocolliculum: absent;
    Excisura: moderately wide, notch depth, angle acute;
    Antirostrum: short and pointed;
