Morphologic Description:

    Otolith shape: oblong to fusiform;
    Dorsal margin sculpture: entire to slightly irregular;
    Posterior margin: sharply rounded and slightly irregular;
    Ventral margin: gently rounded, slightly irregular, with strong denticle;
    Excisura: wide, notch shallow, angles acute;
    Antirostrum: small and pointed;
    Rostrum: short and pointed;
    Ventral depression: small and shallow below ridge;
    Dorsal depression: very narrow and shallow;
    Crista inferior: ridge-like and curved under the cauda, well developed under ostium;
    Crista superior: ridge-like and curved over the cauda, poor over ostium, absent at tip;
    Collum: absent;
    Ostio-caudal differentiation: dorso-ventrally constricted;
    Cauda: short, oval, poorly defined posteriorly;
    Ostium: narrow and large;
    Pseudocolliculum: absent;
    Colliculum: homomorph, very low, indistinct anterior colliculum;
