Morphologic Description:

    Otolith shape: oval to oblong-ovate;
    Dorsal margin sculpture: sinuate to irregular;
    Posterior margin: rounded and lobed or irregular, the postero-dorsal angle is slightly S-shaped;
    Ventral margin: rounded and serrate to sinuate;
    Excisura: moderately wide, notch shallow, angle acute;
    Antirostrum: small, narrow and sharply rounded;
    Rostrum: large, broad, angled with sharply rounded tip;
    Ventral depression: absent, shallow groove in mid-area;
    Dorsal depression: small, oval and shallow, lies above neck;
    Crista inferior: poorly developed along entire sulcus;
    Crista superior: low ridge from ostium to mid-cauda, poorly developed posteriorly;
    Collum: absent;
    Ostio-caudal differentiation: slightly ventrally constricted;
    Cauda: short with oblong colliculum;
    Ostium: elongate, slightly flare anteriorly with large, low and oblong colliculum;
    Pseudocolliculum: present, as long as posterior colliculum;
    Colliculum: heteromorph;
    Sulcus acusticus: ostial, heterosulcoid;
    Dorsal margin: slightly rounded;
    Thickness: moderate;
