    Otolith shape: approximately oval or rounded;
    Dorsal margin sculpture: entire;
    Posterior margin: slightly rounded to flat and entire;
    Ventral margin: well rounded and entire;
    Excisura: wide, notch absent;
    Antirostrum: very short and rounded;
    Rostrum: reduced;
    Ventral depression: absent;
    Dorsal depression: shallow and very narrow;
    Crista inferior: poorly developed under ostium, moderately well developed along the entire cauda;
    Crista superior: poorly developed over ostium, ridge-like over cauda;
    Collum: absent;
    Ostio-caudal differentiation: dorso-ventrally constricted;
    Cauda: long, narrow and deep, strongly bent in ventral direction;
    Ostium: sub-quadrangular;
