Morphologic Description: Carapace small, elongate; surface having irregular ridges and tubercles forming broken ridges in medial and posterodorsal regions; posterodorsal denticles absent to weakly developed (Cronin, 1987).

Holotype: USNM 68007 (Locality: Rohr 12528, north of Mamural Road, Central Range, Gransaul Clay Member of Springvale Formation of Trinidad. Upper Miocene).

Distribution:

• Miocene and Pliocene: Central America, northern South America and the Antilles.
