Morphologic Description: Hinge holamphidont. Like Costa but smaller, tapering strongly toward rear, with acuminate posterior end; ridges high, sharply defined, perforate in type species. [Cativella navis Coryell and Fields, 1937] (Treatise, Q336, fig. 259:3).
