Morphologic Description: Carapace subquadrate, with distinct posteroventral projection; subcentral tubercle slight but definite; ornament of two or more thin carinae confined to posterior half of carapace; marginal rims sharply defined. Duplicature wide, with narrow vestibule; hinge hemiamphidont; antennal muscle scar large, crescentric, opening toward front. [Ambocythere keiji Bold, 1957] (Treatise Q335, fig. 259:5).
